In order to avoid such problems, the sensor needs to be calibrated.
Before you can calibrate the touch on your Android, you need to be sure that your actions are accurate. First, you have to check your smartphone for touch errors. Turn on, for example, a message and press certain letters. If what you pressed appears on the screen, then no calibration is required. Well, if the characters are different, you need to adjust your smartphone.
You need to calibrate the sensor:
- Every month or two of smartphone use (if you find a clear change in display behavior)

How to calibrate the sensor on Android manually
Here it is worth saying that a large number of gadgets can be configured quite differently, and you may be the owner of such a smartphone. The manufacturer can change or exclude this setting in the smartphone at all. Below we will look at the calibration setting in the usual way.
- Go to settings, and there go to the "Phone settings" tab.
- Enter the "Calibrate Phone" tab.
- Then a cross with a target will appear in the middle of the screen on a white background. Click on it three times.
- After this the calibration is completed. After that, check the sensor in the previously mentioned way.
After calibration it is recommended to reboot your device!
With apps
If your smartphone does not have the ability to adjust the screen calibration, you can use a special application. In this case, it will be identical to the standard version, and you will need to do the same thing as in the smartphone with a built-in feature. Some such applications give the ability to adjust more precisely than the native ones.
To find such apps, go to Google Play through the app, and enter in the search "Screen Calibration", and then select the desired one. Unfortunately we can't advise you on specific programs, as they will behave differently on different devices. BUT, I will advise the applications I have personally used!

- After entering the calibration submenu, press start
- If you have done everything correctly, you will see the calibration result
